I discovered the world of podcasts recently and my life has been changed. I think in a time when we’re all so conscious of the people we’re becoming and we’re all so self aware it’s also so important to be learning more and feeding your body, mind and soul the best nutrients. What you’re taking in is more than what you eat, it’s what you’re listening to and what you’re reading too.
Podcasts are so great because it’s receiving incredible information without having to read. So you can play podcasts when you’re on the go whether you’re taking a walk, driving or even doing some mindless cleaning in the house. I love listening to podcasts when I’m doing my makeup or doing editing on my posts.
There are so many amazing podcasts I’ve discovered that speak on the real ness of self care, not just face masks and wine night (we love those too) but that really speak about the reality of what it means to work on yourself. The countless number of setbacks when you’re in triggering situations, figuring out your triggers, learning to set boundaries and generally getting your life together.
I’m going to list some of my favourite podcasts and hopefully they’re able to help you in ways that they’ve helped me.
This podcast was the one I found the most relatable. Ashley not only motivates us to be better, but the topics she speaks on are so relatable and she adds her own personal experiences and you’ll find yourself saying “girl me too” , but at the end of every podcast I always feel so empowered and feel like I am so in charge of my life and my purpose.
Interestingly enough, I discovered this podcast from Tik Tok. I follow Cat on Tik Tok and started following her because she makes these beautiful and aesthetic videos speaking on mental health and the importance of having daily routines that make you happy and healthy. She’s so young but so knowledgeable but I have learned so much from not only following her on Tik Tok but from listening to her podcast.
This is actually the very first podcast channel I listening to. My friend had recommended a podcast speaking on pain bodies and I was so intrigued and since then I have been blown away by how much I have learned from Super Soul Conversations. Oprah interviews so many incredible, inspiring and motivating people that always teach you so many golden nuggets about life. She also interviews celebrities and you’re able to see more vulnerable sides to them and learn how they overcome difficulties in their life.
I just discovered this podcast and I loved it. I loved how she explains what it means to truly connect to your highest self and the different ways you can connect to that part of yourself that is the most functional, and is at a level of self actualisation. The episodes are longer than the others so if you love long podcasts, this is for you.
This was the podcast that forced me to be the most vulnerable with myself. She speaks so much on healing your childhood traumas and healing parts of yourself that people around you probably don’t know about. It was so refreshing to have someone speaks so openly about issues I know many of us struggle with but maybe can’t share. 10/10 definitely recommend.
